Your Guide to Watching Euro 2024 in English and Spanish

by

FOX Sports holds the English-language broadcast rights for Euro 2024, offering comprehensive coverage of all 51 matches across its network and streaming platforms. FuboTV will stream every game, including five exclusive matches. FOX will air 29 games, while FS1 will broadcast 17. For Spanish-speaking viewers, TelevisaUnivision, including Univision, TUDN, and ViX, holds the broadcast rights.

FuboTV and DirecTV Stream offer packages that include both FOX and Univision networks, ensuring access to all Euro 2024 matches in both English and Spanish. Sling Blue provides a more budget-friendly option with FOX and FS1. Each service offers different pricing and channel lineups, with FuboTV providing the most extensive selection, including beIN SPORTS, which features Ligue 1, Copa Libertadores, and Copa Sudamericana.

This marks FOX’s first time broadcasting the European Championship, expanding its soccer portfolio beyond the FIFA World Cup, Women’s World Cup, and Copa America.

To enhance its coverage, FOX has enlisted former Italian national team captain and Euro 2020 champion Giorgio Chiellini as a studio analyst. Chiellini’s experience and insights will provide valuable commentary. FOX’s broadcast team includes commentators like Ian Darke, Derek Rae, Jacqui Oatley, and Darren Fletcher, alongside analysts such as Landon Donovan, Robert Green, Warren Barton, and Owen Hargreaves. The studio team features Jules Breach as host and analysts including Ariane Hingst, Daniel Sturridge, Peter Schmeichel, Stu Holden, and Chiellini.

Maurice Edu and Alexi Lalas, former USMNT players, will contribute to FOX’s coverage when their schedules permit, balancing their commitments to Copa America analysis.

ViX, launched by TelevisaUnivision in 2022, offers both free and premium tiers with Spanish-language content. Its programming includes select UEFA club and international competitions, Liga MX and Liga MX Femenil, as well as the Argentine Primera, Brasileirão, and Colombian leagues.

The UEFA European Championship, also known as the Euros, crowns Europe’s top national team. It is the second most-watched soccer tournament globally, after the World Cup.

Ten nations have claimed the Euro title: Germany and Spain with three each; Italy and France with two each; and the Soviet Union, Czechoslovakia, Netherlands, Denmark, Greece, and Portugal with one each. Held every four years, the tournament takes place in even-numbered years between World Cups. In 2024, Germany will host the tournament for the first time since reunification. The final will be held at Berlin’s Olympiastadion, a historic venue that previously hosted the 2006 World Cup and 2015 Champions League finals. This iconic stadium, originally built for the 1936 Olympics, provides a fitting backdrop for the championship.
