Television Screen Repair: Troubleshooting a Sony Bravia
A Sony Bravia television, over a decade old, began exhibiting display issues several months ago. Initially, lines appeared on the left side of the screen, disappearing as the TV warmed up. This was accompanied by dimming on the same side, also resolving with warm-up. The problems gradually worsened, persisting even after the television reached operating temperature. Interestingly, the darkening on the left side diminishes when the entire screen displays bright content, like a snowy landscape, but reappears in darker scenes, rendering that side almost black.
