CES 2025 saw a significant focus on software upgrades, particularly in artificial intelligence, and the perennial competition for larger screen sizes. However, concrete details on new television models were surprisingly scarce compared to previous years. Several major manufacturers did announce upcoming releases, providing a glimpse into the future of television technology.
LG confirmed a wide range of 2025 televisions, primarily sticking to their established OLED and LCD technologies. Their announcements included updates to both their OLED and QNED (LCD) lines.
Panasonic, continuing its recent re-entry into the US market, unveiled its new flagship OLED TV series, the Z95B, and a flagship mini-LED TV series, the W95B. Additionally, Panasonic announced the budget-friendly W70B LED TV series, exclusive to the US market and available in smaller screen sizes.

Hisense showcased two impressive televisions at CES: a massive 136-inch micro-LED TV (136MX) and a 116-inch TriChroma mini-LED TV (116UX). The 136MX marks Hisense’s first commercially available micro-LED TV, moving beyond the proof-of-concept stage. The 116UX represents Hisense’s first foray into “TriChroma” mini-LED technology. Pricing and availability for both models remain undisclosed, but they are expected to be premium offerings.
TCL’s CES 2025 announcements included two TV series: the QM7K and the QM6K. Both models are part of TCL’s continued focus on providing advanced TV technology to consumers.
