The GOAT Television Show: Reality TV Stars Compete for the Ultimate Title

Amazon Freevee has greenlit a new reality competition series, “The GOAT,” featuring 14 reality TV celebrities vying for the title of “Greatest Of All Time.” Hosted by comedian Daniel Tosh (“Tosh 2.0”), the show will push contestants through a series of mental, physical, and social challenges. The diverse cast includes well-known personalities from various reality shows, such as Tayshia Adams (“The Bachelorette”), Joe Amabile (“The Bachelor”), Kristen Doute (“Vanderpump Rules”), Reza Farahan (“Shahs of Sunset”), CJ Franco (“FBoy Island”), Wendell Holland (“Survivor”), Teck Holmes (“The Real World”), Justin Johnson/Alyssa Edwards (“RuPaul’s Drag Race”), Paola Mayfield (“90 Day Fiancé”), Da’Vonne Rogers (“Big Brother”), Joey Sasso (“The Circle”), Jason Smith (“The Bachelorette”), Lauren Speed-Hamilton (“Love Is Blind”), and Jill Zarin (“The Real Housewives of New York City”).

The show is executive produced by a team with extensive experience in reality television, including Elan Gale (“The Bachelor,” “FBoy Island”), Bill Dixon (“The Bachelor” franchise), and notable figures like Anthony Anderson (“Black-ish”) and Lee Eisenberg (“The Office”). Dixon also serves as showrunner, with Michael Shea directing. “The GOAT” is a collaboration between Propagate and Amazon Studios.

“The GOAT” joins a growing lineup of original and acquired content on Amazon Freevee, including the recently renewed “Bosch: Legacy” and popular Prime Video titles like “Reacher” and “The Wheel of Time.” The streaming service is also expanding its FAST (Free Ad-Supported Television) linear channel offerings, with plans to increase the number of channels by 75%. This expansion will include themed channels, original content from Freevee and Prime Video, and syndicated partnerships.

Freevee’s programming slate boasts a variety of genres, from reality shows like “Hollywood Houselift with Jeff Lewis” to critically acclaimed series like “Judy Justice” and the viral sensation “Jury Duty.” Upcoming additions include Mike Schur and Shea Serrano’s comedy “Primo” and the new court program “Tribunal Justice.” Amazon Freevee’s commitment to diverse content and expanding its FAST channels aims to solidify its position in the competitive streaming landscape.
