Screens can scratch easily, and even paper towels and tissues contain fibers that can cause damage. The best way to clean your television screen is to use a soft, anti-static microfiber cloth, similar to those used for eyeglasses or camera lenses. Wipe the screen in a circular motion, applying gentle pressure to remove dust and debris. Avoid pressing too hard, as this could damage the screen.

You should also clean the TV cabinet and ensure dust isn’t blocking the ventilation vents. If your TV is on a stand, support it with one hand while cleaning with the other to prevent tipping. It’s highly recommended to anchor all stand-mounted TVs to the wall using anti-tipping straps for safety.

For stubborn stains, lightly dampen the microfiber cloth with distilled water. Never spray water directly onto the screen, as this could cause electrical shock or damage internal components.

Extremely stubborn stains may require a highly diluted solution of mild dish soap and water. Apply this solution to the cloth, not directly to the TV. A ratio of 100:1 water to soap is a good starting point. LCD screens are particularly sensitive to pressure, so always use a gentle touch.
