Texas Rangers Television: How to Watch the Games in 2025
The Texas Rangers have announced their 2025 television broadcast schedule on Rangers Sports Network (RSN), offering fans multiple ways to watch games. This guide provides a comprehensive overview of how to access Texas Rangers Television broadcasts, whether through traditional cable, streaming services, or free over-the-air options.
Where to Watch Texas Rangers Games on TV
Rangers Sports Network (RSN) has secured multi-year agreements with various distributors across Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and parts of New Mexico. The network aims to provide comprehensive coverage for fans throughout the Rangers’ five-state television territory.
Traditional Cable and Satellite Providers
RSN has partnered with DIRECTV (satellite and satellite-free streaming), U-verse, and Spectrum. Each provider will dedicate a specific channel to RSN, broadcasting pregame shows, live games, and postgame coverage. Subscribers can authenticate through Victory+ for streaming access. The Rangers are actively working to expand partnerships with other providers.
Victory+ Streaming App
Victory+, the official direct-to-consumer streaming platform for the Texas Rangers, offers a Season Pass for approximately 150 regional games, including select Spring Training games. Launched in September 2024, Victory+ also streams Dallas Stars and Anaheim Ducks hockey games and provides free on-demand sports content. A Rangers Season Pass will be available for purchase in early February for $100.
Free Over-the-Air Broadcasts
For the first time since 2014, the Rangers will offer free over-the-air (OTA) game broadcasts. The initial schedule includes 15 Friday home games, starting with the second regular season game on March 28th against Boston. KDAF-TV (CW33), a Nexstar-owned station, will be the flagship OTA broadcaster in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. RSN has partnered with Nexstar Media Group and Gray Media to provide OTA coverage across the Rangers’ territory.
