CES 2025 TV Highlights: AI, Innovation, and Bigger Screens

Panasonic, fresh off its successful 2024 US return, unveiled the flagship Z95B OLED with enhanced brightness and redesigned audio. The W95B flagship mini-LED and budget-friendly W70B LED series, focusing on smaller screen sizes, were also introduced for the US market.
Samsung debuted new mini-LED 8K TVs (QN990F and QN900F) and 4K series (QN90F, QN80F, and QN70F), highlighting improvements in mini-LED technology for superior contrast and brightness. Existing QD-OLED and traditional OLED models continue to deliver premium viewing experiences.
Samsung also retains its QD-OLED and traditional OLED lines, catering to diverse budgets and preferences. These models promise enhanced color accuracy and deeper blacks.
Hisense impressed with the 136MX, a 136-inch micro-LED TV, and the 116UX, a 116-inch TriChroma mini-LED TV. The 136MX marks Hisense’s first commercial micro-LED, potentially disrupting the high-end market. The 116UX, with TriChroma technology, aims for exceptional color performance. Pricing and availability are yet to be announced.
TCL showcased the QM7K and QM6K series, expected to feature the latest LCD/LED advancements, offering enhanced picture quality and smart features at competitive prices. TCL remains focused on value in the TV market.
